About this blog

Over the years of my explorations in Techincal and Creative industries, I finally feel that these two areas are not opposite to each other. In reality, they merge.

I am currently working as Technical Specialist in Big Data with a leading software company. Apart from my 6+ years of technical experience, I also have 6+ years of experience in Photography, Painting, Writing, Poetry, Interiors. Some of these are shared on www.tanu-flyhigh.blogspot.comhttp://soodtanu.wix.com/tanushreephotography.

Apart from technical and creative areas, I have been working on myself, meditating for almost 8 years, and currently sharing and working with people through www.healandknow.com.

All of this knowledge and experiences have taught me that everything is connected. The creative experience helps me a great deal in looking at a technical problems uniqely. The meditation experience has increased the awareness to such an extent that even the biggest of complicated big data applications seem to be crystal clear, the code written is always error-free and seamlessly integrate. In addition, I can remain at peace in the most stressful situations felt by most IT employees.

Many people when they look at my photography or other websites, ask me how come technical industry. To them, I sometimes give this example:
To do photography, I need to learn the techniques of using the DSLR efficiently.
To do painting, I need to learn the technique of mixing colours, using bruses, textures etc.
More refined is the technical skills, easier it would be to shoot or paint.
But technique alone, is not enough.
So more is the creative perception, and more is the awareness and love in the eyes, and touch,
better would be a photograph or a painting.

Same goes with my work in Big Data and Java. I enjoy Java and Big Data so much that to me it seems so simple. My intensity or totality remains the same, independent of the work I am doing.
Also I have used technology extensively, in building all my websites, connecting with people, advertising, developing photographs, etc.

The reason I am writing all this and creating this blog, is to share my way of looking at a technical problem that solves it quickly. Also, I shall provide simple and complete solution to an error, to make it easier for the readers to reuse.

Since I have always loved to share, here comes this :)

Love
Tanu Shree
